ELLENDALE FANCY YELLOW DIAMONDS

Among the world's rarest diamond resource value systems, the Ellendale Diamond Province in Western Australia stands out. Historically recognized as a significant source of high-quality natural fancy yellow diamonds, this region presents a unique opportunity in the market closely linked to the allure of the Indian diamond category. IBDH is driving the development of this exceptional Australian diamond province, which goes beyond typical diamond mining projects; it signifies exposure to a rare colour-driven diamond category where value is determined by rarity, colour intensity, and global luxury demand for yellow diamonds.

Why Ellendale?

The Ellendale Diamond Field (EDF) has historically produced a disproportionately high share of natural fancy yellow gem-quality diamonds on a global scale.

Value Led

Our project is unlocking  the world’s most compelling natural fancy yellow diamond opportunity. Most diamond projects compete on the economics of scale. Ellendale is different, positioned in one of the strongest demand segments of the global diamond market.

Unique Economics

Ellendale sits in a fundamentally different economic category.  We have a non-linear value profile which is not volume driven but scarcity-driven, exposed to a tightly constrained global supply of natural fancy yellow diamonds.

From ancient Kimberley landscapes emerge some of the world's rarest and most valuable diamonds.

Ellendale Diamond Field, Kimberley

The Ellendale Mine project is an exciting new alluvial deposit located downstream from the main Ellendale E9 and E4 pipes. This is noteworthy as these pipes have historically produced 50% of the world’s fancy yellow diamonds, underscoring the importance of Australian diamond production and the global significance of yellow diamonds.
